Pet care experience
From Chinese Crested Dogs to St. Bernards, I’ve taken care of many different breeds in all walks of life! My previous dog was a special needs senior with epilepsy and I currently have a 2-year-old Australian shepherd named Grizzly. He’s high-energy and goofy, but I wouldn’t have him any other way. So whether you have a couch potato or triathlete, I’m ready and excited to meet them!

Ashton did a truly impressive job with my dog, Nena. She is a bit on the stubborn side but he managed to calm her and take her for a walk throughout our whole neighborhood! :) I can barely get her down 2 streets before she gets distracted by something and sits for 10 minutes. He is truly amazing, a modern day dog whisperer.
Ashton has taken care of my samoyed, Yuki, on numerous occasions. I always know I can trust him to be attentive to her needs, remember her feeding preferences and schedule, and take exceptional care of her in general. When asked, he has provided me with status updates on her day, including pictures of her on walks and simply being the cute ball of fluff she is. I highly recommend Ashton for anyone seeking a kind, caring, and responsible pet sitter for their fur baby. He follows instructions to the letter, and I know Yuki’s wellbeing is always his number one priority.
Ashton was a total sweetheart and my two teen pups absolutely loved him. He came in, met them and was so calm yet direct and ended up actually helping out with some of the obedience training that I was doing (positive feedback training. none of that nasty shock collar nonsense) He walked them, played with them, and fed them at the correct time. My pups were happy when I got back home and that means I was happy.

I like to know any specific training requirements so I can keep up that consistency when I visit. Does your pup walk on a certain side of you? Do you have a break command when they leave their crate? Do you have them wait at the front door before walking out? Knowing the answers to questions like these will help me best serve you and your pooch!
A typical day
For a house visit, I like to use tug toys, give treats, and play fetch and frisbee outside! For walks, we can stroll around your neighborhood, go to the dog park, or anything else your pup likes to do!

Availability
I work another job throughout the week so my Rover availability is contingent on that schedule. I’m available for house-sitting, drop-ins, and walks throughout the week. I still have availability for the 4th of July!
