Hello fellow pet owners! I live in southeast Evanston with my 3 dogs, cat, and 3 foster cats. I know how important it is to make sure furry friends are cared for with love and responsibility, especially when life gets busy and we cannot do it ourselves. Over the last six years I’ve worked with dogs of all sorts of temperaments, from those with leash reactivity to those with separation anxiety. I’ve walked the craziest pullers (including my own two large dogs) changed diapers for senior dogs, and dealt with dogs who will eat anything (socks, toys etc.) I’m 19 years old, a graduate of Chicago Waldorf School taking a gap year, and live in a home that revolves around animals. If I am not home, there is always someone around on pet patrol. We have a large fenced in backyard for our two rowdy dogs and any other pup that wants to join them, a gated area for dogs who need supervision, as well as quieter rooms with lots of sofas for dogs and cats to lounge on. Perfect for any temperament of dog or cat. And, I have a large crate if you would like your dog to be crated. Cats have been a large part of my life the past couple years. I’ve always had cats but recently we started the rollercoaster journey of rescuing and rehabilitating strays, so I have experience with the most docile to the feistiest of kitties. One of our recent strays gave birth in our home to 5 kittens, who we raised and adopted out. I am a certified Wag! walker. I can’t talk about my experience without mentioning my work at a shelter cleaning cages and assisting with adoptions. I also have a background in dog training. Our three dogs were all trained by me, an ongoing process. I am hoping to major in nonprofit management in college. I love dogs and cats and will treat yours like my own. Whenever a walk or board is over, I am always sad to say goodbye to my pup friends and I think they are too. I can’t wait to hear from you and meet your pup or kitty!
