Hey there! My name is Ashlynn. :) I have been using Rover for about 6 years now now and love it to help others with their fur babies needs! I have always had a passion for animals, especially dogs. I feel they are truly mans best friend and that is one of the reasons I’m passionate about being a dog sitter, though I love working with all animals in general. I currently live in Summerville. Charleston SC born and raised! I am caring, loving, cautious, observant, trustworthy, communicative, and I love animals! :) I live in a child free home with a fenced in backyard for dogs to run around in. The inside of my home is very dog friendly and I allow pets on my furniture and bed, unless you note otherwise. You are more than welcome to come by and check my house before a sitting if it makes you more comfortable. I give full time, above average care to all animals that come into my home. In my opinion, dogs are like family and I treat them as such. I give lots of love, attention, and care to all dogs, no matter their personality or breed. I like to send updates and lots of photos while I am sitting your pup. I am currently doing this on the side while doing college full time (from home), so I will most likely be open to whatever schedule you are dealing with. :) Tip: If you are active duty military and have an underway or deployment coming up but looking to stay in budget I do great discounts. (I have done boarding stays for active duty for over 3 months before.) Please contact me and let me know and we can work something out towards this. :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As of August 19, 2019 I have had to implement a physical contract for sittings. ALL dog owners must sign this contract. I have provided in detail everything that is in the contract and what you will also need to provide. I want to add on that I am sorry if this contract seems demanding or money grabbing. I used to have no rules for sittings when I first started over Rover, but over time, I’ve received dogs with fleas, had over $500 worth of furniture ruined, had dogs who constantly peed and pooped inside my home, and etc. happen. If you have any questions or want part of it changed or an exception made due to health issues please message me and I’ll be happy to work with you. I love communication and ensuring my clients (and puppers!) happiness. PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS. MY REQUIREMENTS FOR ANY STAY AT MY HOUSE: 1. Your dog(s) MUST be treated with flea/tick/worm meds and are to be up to date on all their shots. 2. They need to be crate trained for when I have to leave my home, UNLESS the stay is not overnight and I know I won't be going anywhere that day, they do not need a crate. The ONLY exception your dog(s) can do a stay without a crate is they must have no chewing habits and must be house trained, and that if they cause any damages you agree to pay 100% of the damage. 3. Your pup must get along well with other dogs and not have anti-social/aggressive behavior, including excessive food aggression. 4. As of November 29 we have installed a new 6ft wooden fence! But, there are a few small gaps at the bottom of the fence where a dog could get out if they are a quick digger. Please keep this in mind if your dog is an escape artist. I will charge a $5 fee for every time your dog gets dirty from digging holes or purposefully tries to play in mud and bring it inside my home, because I will have to give them a bath, and mop my floors. 5. If your dog pees/poops inside more than once on the first day they are with me, I will charge an extra clean up fee for each time they pottie inside my home. Pricing for the clean up fees is as follows, with pricing per each accident: -Pee inside on hardwood floor - $2 -Poop inside on hardwood floor - $2 -Pee inside on carpet - $3 -Poop inside on carpet - $3 -Pukes anywhere - $0.50 -Pissed soaked dog bedding - $3 -Poop on dog bedding - $3 6. f your dog(s) cause any damage, that was out of my control, you agree to pay 100% of the damage cost in cash once the day the sitting is over. No exceptions whatsoever. 7. If your dogs nails are way overgrown I will charge a $50 nail trimming fee to shorten the dogs nails (I use a drummel). I get way too many dogs that come to me with overgrown nails and will not condone it. Not only is it negligent and improper care of your dog, but it is painful for them to walk around with long nails. This is why the fee is $50. So please, take care of your dogs nails. Note: And as for animal fights; in unlikely event that there is, I will be immediate to contacting you, letting Rover know, and taking the next appropriate actions. ALL EXTRA FEES MUST BE PAID IN CASH BY THE TIME OF PICKUP. Venmo, Paypal, or same bank transfer is also accepted, but you must ask first! Please continue reading below if your stay is also a boarding stay. FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING STAYS: I ask that you provide whatever your pet would need. Such as their collar, leash, certain play toys they like, their dog food and treats, crate, and bedding. I would recommend the bedding not be new so that if your dog has seperation anxiety from you, the bedding will have your scent on it. You can even stick a half worn T-shirt or pillow case in the kennel if you like! If you forget a dog bowl, don’t worry; I have an extra and keep water supplied in a larger bowl for all dogs in my care. Please notify me if your dog(s) have any allergies or health issues. PLEASE NOTE: if your dogs boarding stay started before noon on the first day, and you do not pick up your dog on their last boarding day before 4pm, it will be considered a day sitting fee and I will add on a $30 day charge for your pups stay. If there's a chance your pick up is going to be right at 4:00pm I can be lenient on pricing, just ask. In the contract you will then sign that you understand agree to all of the rules and requirements. You will then date, print, and sign your name. In the last part of the contract, I have a paper provided that will give me power of attorney in the unlikely event I have to bring your dog to your vet. It specifically states "I,_________________________, give Ashlynn Taylor Alexander full authority in any situation involving the dogs listed in the above agreement."
