Pet care experience
My first "job" was dog walking for one of my neighbours! I was 11 years old and created pamphlets and posters to promote my "dog walking business." I also have a Standard Schnauzer named Bizzy who is the sweetest and friendliest boy! I feed, walk, and take care of Bizzy, especially when it comes to playtime and snuggles!

Ashlyn is a little like Snow White. There is a scene in the movie where Snow White starts singing and all the forest animals flock to her. Ashlyn is like that with pets. They all love her and want to be around her. She is a very caring person and compassionate person, who loves all animals, big and small. I trust her to take care of my cat and dog. She spends time with them and keeps them on their feeding and walking schedules. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a person to walk or pet sit.
Ashlyn has taken care of my dog Osito many times and he loves her ! I always know he is in good hands with her.
Ashlyn has taken care of my cat Ira many times and she has become my most trusted cat sitter ! She is so good with him and treats him as if he is her own. Would recommend Ashlyn to any of my friends and family looking for a sitter for their furry friend

A typical day
Depending on the energy level of your pet, I will make sure to cater our activities to their needs. If you have a pet that likes walks, we can go out for nice walks during our visit. Any toys that your pets loves I will use during our visit to provide some mental and physical stimulation, while getting some energy out! If your pet is more relaxed and independent, I will follow their behaviours and cues to ensure that I am not overstimulating them, and only playing with them or giving them attention when it is wanted.

Availability
I do volunteer work on weekends, but I am currently working casually (part-time) Monday through Friday, so my schedule is flexible! I can do weekly shifts, or can take care of your pet on an as-needed basis. I am available both during the day and evenings. I am not currently doing night care, although if your pet and I connect, I may be open to night shifts in your home if needed!
