We had Ashlyn stay at our house while we were out of town for a week. She took great care of our pup and kitty while we were gone! It was wonderful getting the photo updates and so nice to not stress out our animals by kenneling them. Everyone was so much happier (including us!) to have Ashlyn house/pet sit. We will be booking again for sure!
Ashlyn watched our two dogs in our house for two weeks and it went very smoothly. We got frequent texts with pictures and the dogs looked pampered and loved. We had great peace of mind knowing the dogs were in good hands and the house was secure. We will definitely ask Ashlyn to help as again in the future.
Ashlyn has done fantastic work caring for our pets and house-sitting for us while we've been out of town. We have a large variety of pets including an indoor cat with a sensitive stomach, a blind 10-year-old rabbit, a dog who is afraid of the dark, and a 100-pound puppy. Each animal has its own food, routine, and personality and Ashlyn has done a great job with all of them keeping them safe, happy and ...
I have been around dogs my entire life, and I have owned one for 9 years now. I am the primary caretaker of my own pet, who is well-behaved, well-trained, and healthy in his old age. I also have experience pet sitting dogs from the size of a Great Dane or Great Pyrenees to a Yorkie or Chihuahua. I have even taken care of goats, rabbits, horses, cows, donkeys, chickens, and more! What Ashlyn would like to know about your dog
I have created and had much success with a informational packet that asks all the questions I need to know so I don’t forget them and have the answers on hand when I need them. Questions include: I would like to know if they have any behavioral issues, such as separation anxiety, chewing on household items, housebreaking problems, etc. If they are habitual barkers or easily overexcited. This allows me to be aware of potential issues. I prefer dogs that are trained on the leash. If dogs are over 70lbs they must be trained or at least well-behaved on the leash. I have no breed preferences; prejudice towards any one breed is not an issue with me. All dogs are not the same, all breeds have their own behaviors, none are inherently good or bad. I adore every species of dog, from the Hairless Chinese to the Saint Bernard!
