Pet care experience
Hi I’m Ashlyn! I’m 22 years old and an avid dog lover. I am a former employee of a dog and cat daycare & boarding resort, and worked there for 4 years before recently deciding to pursue other career goals. I have 2 dogs of my own. Arlo is a shepherd mix and June is a Brittany. However, Arlo lives back in Texas with my family. Prior to my professional doggy daycare experience, I took care of dogs for my friends and neighbors for many years and it’s honestly my favorite thing in the world. In addition to walking and caring for dogs, I’m also trained in administering medications. I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter many times and know that I’m very comfortable around dogs (or cats) of any breed and size. I am also frequently involved in Hounds Around Town at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter where I take shelter dogs out for the day and allow them so socialize for potential adoptions. Recently I have started a new job, and I am unavailable from 10AM-6:30PM on weekdays (Monday-Friday). However on weekends (Saturday-Sunday) I am available all day. I would love to care for your pet any time that I am available. My friends know me for being ‘that girl who loves dogs’. :) I’m really looking forward to meeting and interacting with your pup!

Ashlyn, Has been great with my Bella. Bella is normally real timid around new people, but she took to Ashlyn the first day. I would recommend Ashlyn to anyone.

Ashlyn was great!! She sent pictures and videos and gave updates throughout the weekend. She was very flexible on pickup time and drop off time. Miya was exhausted after her stay so I know she had a good time. Would definitely recommend her
Ashlyn was so awesome. She kept me up to date with my pup’s care while I was on a trip and it felt like my dog was in the best care. Also, such a sweet girl! Highly recommend.

My apartment complex has a dog park which is a 2 minute walk from my building. There are many nice trails around Fayetteville that I enjoy walking my dog around. If I do need to be out for a short period of time, I would require that your dog have a kennel! They would never be left alone for long.

I would definitely like to know the breed of dog. I have no preference, but it’s always good to know. :) It would also be helpful for me to know what kinds of activities your dog enjoys, as well as his or her temperament around other people and dogs. Please also let me know if your dog has any allergies or dietary restrictions.
A typical day
I’m very familiar with a few nice walking trails in and around town. I also enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park, and if your pup is the social type then I would be more than happy to take them to the dog park as well. There is one located right inside my apartment complex so your dog will always have 24/7 access to play. :) I occasionally take my dogs to starbucks to get a puppaccino if your dog would like a sweet treat as well. I also love hiking and would be so happy to take you pup along!!

Availability
I am unavailable from 10AM-6:30PM on weekdays (Monday-Friday). However on weekends (Saturday-Sunday) I am available all day. Being a dog mom is also my full time job, as I spend most of my day with my dog, June. Pet care is my top priority.
