EXPERIENCE: While we are new to Rover (as of November 2020), Luke and I are anything but new when it comes to loving and caring for four-legged friends. As we all know, Missoula is home to the largest and most passionate collection of dog owners in the country (an unofficial statistic, but c’mon, we all know it’s true). Choosing a dog sitter that you trust is no small task and we want to make it easy on you, so you can get back to all the other things you have on your to-do list. Luke and I have over 25 years of collective dog ownership experience and are currently proud pup parents to a sweet and playful three-year-old golden retriever named Harper. She enjoys a life full of belly scratches, trail runs, and cozy naps by the fireplace. We absolutely adore her and we are not ashamed to confess she appears in 95% of the photos in our camera rolls. We promise to shower your dog with the same amount of love and attention. • • • AVAILABILITY: We are available Monday-Friday, and have availability on most weekends. As dog owners ourselves, we understand the importance of flexibility. For that reason, we selected the most lenient cancellation policy Rover has to offer. We want to be available for last minute bookings and understanding of last minute cancellations. Life happens. • • • ENVIRONMENT: Our home is located in the South Hills, with a large fenced backyard that overlooks Missoula. We live right next to neighborhood public access trails and only ten minutes away from the Blue Mountain trailhead. Luke and I recently transitioned to working from home and we will both be around to provide 24/7 care to your pup. We take alternating breaks, which means your pup won’t be left sitting around, watching us type away on our computers. They will have the run of the house and yard throughout the day with plenty of human interaction. We promise to provide the same care we would expect a sitter to provide for Harper- and Harper promises to be your dog’s constant companion and playmate. As a high energy and active household with lots of furry friends coming & going, we may not be the best fit for dogs who prefer “alone time” or dogs that don’t play well with others. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we can schedule a Meet & Greet. • • • BOARDING WITH US: We run our overnight boarding similar to a hotel - meaning our general rule of thumb is "check-in at noon, check-out by 11am". Why do we do this? We want to provide each dog with the highest standard of care and this policy allows us to do that. If you need to drop off your dog earlier in the day or would like to pick them up later, that can absolutely be arranged, so please ask! We are more than happy to work with you to make pickups and drop-offs as easy and convenient as possible. Please note that if a pickup or drop off falls outside the outlined timeframe, a $30 charge for additional care will apply (equivalent to what we charge for our drop-in doggy day care services).
