If the animal needs any special requirements/needs I would greatly appreciate to know at the meet and greet or before hand in some way and a detailed explanation written down/out on paper so there is absolutely no miscommunication on what I need to do for the animals and to maintain their best quality of life. I would be more comfortable to know every detail and what to do and how to do it. Possibly even examples by the owner showing me how to do certain things. I heavily emphasize having things written out so I can refer back to it and make sure each task needed is done correctly. And also willingness to keep in communication with me while owner is away so that if anything were to happen I could get ahold of the owners very easily. I love animals and will do my best to take care of them but nothing happens perfectly and I would feel more comfortable taking care of the animals if I had access to the owners communication at all times. Once I felt comfortable enough to handle the needs/tasks on my own I would try to keep bothering the owner to a minimum, but would keep the owners updated and pictures if they wanted me too!! And I will do this voluntarily unless I’ am told otherwise :)

Getting dogs active if they have the ability to is so important! Stimulating their brain activity and also keeping them physical I feel allows them to tap into their natural instinct of feeling as if they have a purpose and also allows them to be confident in who they are :) bonding with animals is important to me because they are also emotional beings who require trust and a good time to enjoy life.their quality of life is the most important because their life depends on us to make it worth while!! Animals deserve to be happy because they love us unconditionally if you build trust with them.
