I love all animals, but I hold a special place in my heart for dogs. Growing up, I had a mini schnauzer, Smoki, who was my best friend from the tender age of 3. Since living in California, I often take care of friends' dogs while they're out of town, either dog sitting or dropping in. I always walk them three times a day, make sure their bowls have water, and feed them as instructed. I love the outdoors and staying active, so it's always nice to have a doggy companion while enjoying nature. Dog parks are especially fun if the dog behaves well with other dogs. I enjoy hiking with dogs as well. Griffith park has a number of trails that are great to hike with a furry friend.
