I have been a dog owner for my entire life, worked as an assistant dog groomer for nearly 10 years, and have dog sat for over 15 years. I have owned dog breeds ranging from small Yorkies to large Boxers, energetic Aussies to stubborn Bulldogs. My husband, Grant, view our pups as our kids and we will treat yours just the same. We have recently reopened our Rover availability for boarding and day care. Beginning in August 2023, I will be working full-time at home and can offer superior service out of our home to watch and care for your pups. We live on an orchard in Watervliet with an acre of fenced-in yard, perfect for our own dogs and some of their furry friends. I've enjoyed my time on Rover and am pleased with all of my clients. Ashley did a great job.. Ebu was very happy to see us when we got home. While she didn't eat much other than treats while we were gone, That is normal for Ebu.
Ashley was great!!!! My puppy loved her, and he is a very shy scared dog. Ashley even helped looking after the cat every time she came over. She sent me photos every time she came over. On a funnier note Ashley dealt with me being an overprotective parent like a champ. 10/10 going to ask her to watch Hobbes again.

We have an acre of yard fenced-in with a 6-foot high wood privacy fence. Visiting friends are welcome to stay in our home with us during their visit, but we do ask for crates to be brought to make them feel most comfortable sleeping and enjoying downtime. If you have a climber or escape artist, please inform us ahead of time so we may use a harness and leash in the backyard to keep your pet as safe as possible.

All visiting friends must get along with our two dogs, Copper and Indy, prior to boarding. Both of our dogs are very socialized with other dogs and we have never (knock on wood) had an issue with meeting and enjoying new friends!
A typical day
My Aussies, Copper and Indy, enjoys nightly walks among the orchards surrounding our home. Your pup(s) would be additional companions on this daily routine and will love exploring the countryside. We all spend a lot of time outside and in our yard, so there will be ample time to play!
