Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Ashley, I am I pre med student at WCU. I have over 11 years of dog walking and dog sitting experience, and I have worked with every size and age of dogs- including the 4 large dogs I have myself at home (1 senior, and one puppy under 1 year). I am a very very active person who is willing to go on runs or hikes if that is something you would like. I am familiar and comfortable with administering medication to pets, since I do that for my senior dog every day when I’m at home. I have no pets with me at school, so if you need a boarding service but are nervous about socialization for your pet, you do not have to worry about that. The most time I would have to be away from home for the day is 2 1/2 hours a day for classes, but I can stop home in between if that is a concern for you. Ashley did a great job looking after my 2 large dogs and cat while I was away. She was flexible when our schedule changed, professional and very easy to communicate with, keeping me up to date on my furwads and drop-ins. I highly recommend:)

I can bring a leash, treats, and a harness- if needed for bigger dogs (just let me know in advance if you would like me to). I am very good at working with more than one dog at once; the biggest party of dogs I have worked with at once is 7(all large dogs)! If there is anything that you would like me to bring specifically, please let me know and I will!

In advance to going to take care of your pets I would live to know a few things; - is your pet friendly with people and other pets? -what kind of treats are you ok with your pets having? - would you like me to take your pet for a run, hike, or just a walk ? - is there any special directions I should know for medications or anything during feeding time? - is there any special details I should know about your pet?
A typical day
I love to go on any runs, walks, and hikes, and I have a great time with any activities that include their toys(like frisbee, tennis ball, etc.)! I have VERY high energy dogs at home so I completely understand how important it is to run them around and tire them out.
