Pet care experience
Thank you for letting us love on your four-legged friend while you are gone! We are a family of 5 and feel that a home isn't complete without a fur baby to love on! When we lived in the US we fostered dogs to help them gain confidence before finding their fur-ever home and would love to open our home to your dog while you are away. We have experience with dogs of all ages, medical needs, chewing habits, and anything else you can imagine! We have our own dog, Rey, and know the importance of finding a safe and loving place for him to stay when we need to travel without him. Rey is a 9 year old chimatian (a chihuahua/dalmatian mix) about 7.5kg in size and has done great with the various dogs that have come and gone from our home. I am a retired teacher now tutoring from home so I am home during the day and able to provide potty breaks and cuddles on demand. With Rey and three kids in our home, your little love is sure to get lots of love and attention, including walks around our peaceful neighborhood and our local dog park if your dog would like to play with other dogs or run off lead. We also have a large garden that is securely fenced in so even escape artists can’t escape. You can rest assured that your pup will be happy and well-cared for while in our home!

Wonderful warm and friendly family - Socks was super happy and had a gorgeous weekend making friends with Rey, Ashley, Todd and the kids. All very easy - great comms, with video too, showing the dogs playing sweetly together. Rey (the dog) was a wonderful host too and I very much hope they’ll have Socky back, as I know he’d be very happy to have another little mini-break with Ashley and co! Thank you so much, team! x
Ashley, Todd and family were great. This is the first time we've left our pup with someone that isn't family and Ashley and Todd made it all super easy from the start! They were very accommodating, had great attention to detail and provided us with daily updates while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to use Ashley and Todd again when we go on our next holiday!
Ashley and Todd were brilliant, they were so great at putting Billie at ease and were such a lovely family that made me feel so comfortable leaving Billie with them for the first time. Their dog got on really well with mine too and the updates I got were really frequent and so cute. Would highly recommend this lovely family.
Once again, I was so assured leaving my little girl with Ashley and Todd. The updates were brilliant and I am forever grateful she was taken care of as one of their own. Until next time, thank you both so very very much.

I have a fully secured back garden and dogs are allowed on the furniture (if you like) while they stay with us. We do have stairs going up but I am able to block them if needed. While in your home I will be sure to open and close doors carefully and allow time for your pet to approach me.

A typical day
Your dog will have plenty of opportunities for love and attention in our home. This could mean walks through our neighborhood, a romp in our local dog park, or playing chase in our yard with our kids and Rey. If your pup likes to play with toys in the house, we have a handful to choose from! Or if your pooch prefers to cuddle up, there are plenty of laps and arms available!

I am currently working part time from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. I do have three kids of my own so occasionally I am off with them at an event or practice for a short time.
