Pet care experience
Currently on hiatus! Will update once I start offering services again. Hello! I have been caring for canines, big and small, for over 13 years. I grew up in a house with Shi Tzus and English Labradors, with German Shepherds and Saint Bernards for neighbors. I love ALL dogs, purebred or otherwise, so I volunteer at a few shelters to learn more about canine behavior and help socialize the less fortunate pups in the area. Although I did not have the good fortune to grow up with a cat, I researched cat behavior obsessively to fill the feline void in my heart. I am now blessed to share my home with two rescues: an orange tabby named Percie and a Tortie named Kari. I also have experience caring for saltwater fish, and several plant varieties. As always, Ashley was great at communicating and even let us know about a leak in our shower while we were away. We were able to contact our building manager and get it fixed ASAP. We really enjoy all of the photos and updates that we get from Ashley. Knowing our cats are in good hands is very important to us and Ashley exceeds all expectations and puts our minds at ease.

Ashley is wonderful. She understands dogs and we feel very lucky that she can spend time with Charlie. She is very busy and doesn’t really have flexibility in her schedule. She is reliable, communicates clearly and takes great photos.

I am fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid and the flu. I am masked the entire time I am in your home, and I wash my hands and carry hand sanitizer to minimize any potential risk. I use new masks with every visit. I treat your pets like my own! Whether they are rambunctious or shy, I match my energy to theirs, and we go at their pace. During a visit, my sole focus is that your pet feel comfortable and happy with me.

Any special needs, special requests, or, if your pup is still in training, what methods you are using so I can keep it consistent. For drop in visits and visits with feeding, I like to know your pet’s routine, to make sure I can keep things as close to normal for your pet as possible and to reduce any stress while you’re away.
A typical day
I love to explore local parks and trails with my canine clients! We play games, work on any tricks they might know or be learning, and sniff ALL the things that are appropriate for canine noses! For feline clients, we play if they want to play, lounge if they want to lounge, and if they are especially shy, I will happily just sit nearby and work to earn their trust.

Availability
I work a flexible part time job, so I can fill my spare time with as many animal friends as possible! I do not do visits before 9am or after 7pm for safety reasons. I am available on weekends and some holidays.
