Hello pet parents, I go by Leyna! I have been a dog lover all my life. I have been taking care of every type of dog since I was 15! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to treat and love on their babies just as my own. I am pet CPR certified! I have a beautiful, private, securely fenced-in grass yard in a quiet neighborhood. My house is completely dog friendly, pet safe and remodeled to accommodate indoor play and relaxing. My yard is fully fenced with an 8-foot wood privacy fence surrounding the backyard to provide a stress free, quiet surrounding. I’m from WA and work remotely, so I will always be around to make sure your pup gets all the love and attention they need. My routine is very flexible which allows me to accommodate your pet’s routine. I have a 2 and a 7 year old Pekingese and enjoy playing fetch on the expansive grassy lawn. During cold and rainy days, we stay inside and play and relax. They both love to play with dogs of any age and size! However, I don’t take puppies that are yet too young to be vaccinated. This is for the protection of your puppy, as well as the dogs that are under my care. All dogs must be fully up to date on vaccinations and current on preventative care such as flea medication. A copy of current up to date vaccinations including Bordetella is a must with new clients. I have a huge heart for tiny dogs and seniors. Every pet has their unique personality and needs, and I have experience working with all kinds of dogs of all ages. I have a vast amount of experience working with senior dogs with extensive health conditions and needs. I have experience particularly with dogs suffering from spinal and orthopedic conditions and ones requiring post operative care. I am comfortable with dedicating my time and caring for senior and dogs of all ages to make their stay the best experience with me. We have ramps for the couch and the bed for preventative measures. A typical day would look like playtime or lounging in. The grass yard is large and securely fenced, perfect for fetching balls, frisbee, chase, whatever your dog likes doing. If they want to rest in the yard and enjoy roaming and sniffling, we can definitely do that too! Inside is a casual, dog friendly environment for low key play and tug of war, and lots of love and cuddles. I take many pictures throughout the day and you’ll receive plenty. I am quick to respond and communicate an update and picture of our current events. I would like to know about your dog's general personality. I find it can be really helpful to know a dog’s normal, every day temperament and quirks so that I can pay attention to any changes that may help me to make your dog feel as safe and secure as possible. I also like to have an idea of their usual schedule and how strictly I should adhere to it. I’m cage free, but if you prefer your pet be crated, I have no problem accommodating any requests. Where do they typically sleep in their own home? How do they handle new environments, new people and multiple dogs? If your dog is skittish or does not like new people or other animals, that is important for me to know. Let's set up a meet and greet!
