Hi Guys! I'm a 36 y.o. animal lover with a passion for helping others and their fur babies. Growing up my grandma bred & showed dogs. She was also the owner of a boarding kennel in Caledonia, WI. Since I can remember, I've helped take care of, cleaned up after, bathed & brushed, exercised, and administered meds to puppies and dogs. Before moving to Janesville, I worked as a receptionist in a very busy vet clinic. Being we were so busy, there were times I was needed in the back to help restrain and/or comfort scared pups, and cats. Full disclosure, this was my first interaction with cats. I found them to be quite entertaining and charming (even when they were trying to claw my face off!) I was educated on their on their temperament, habits, quirks, & diet. I inevitably fell in love with every one I met. Today I have a steady job working at home, but it is nowhere near as fulfilling. I truly miss working with animals every day. I would love the opportunity to help you out when you need someone to either watch, or exercise, or just snuggle your babies. I can also help with med administration and brush/bathe if need be.

I worked with Ashley at a veterinary clinic for over two years. During that time, I saw how affectionate and caring she was with all of the animals that entered our clinic. It did not matter if they were big or small, cat or dog, rabbit or rat, she put their needs above her own. She also ended up falling in love and adopting a cat who came to our clinic in need of a forever home. Ashley is a wonderful mother (to her human babies and her fur babies) and I would absolutely trust my animals in her care.
You couldn't find a more reliable and loving person to care for your dogs! Ashley had a giant heart for all things furry and treats not only her own pets, but others as well like they are one of her own children. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.
Ashley has been taking excellent care of our two dogs and our cat when we are away. She loves animals and it shows! Coming home from a trip and knowing my babies have been taken care of is such a comfort. They think of her as family. Ashley knows how to put any animal at ease. She has had many different animals that she's taken care of, and will go over and above to find out what their needs are so she can do the best for them. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter/walker. She has a deep love and affection for what she does. Ashley has the integrity and commitment that I want in a pet sitter and will be using her services for years to come.
Ashley is awesome with animals, provided unconditionally love and affection to all 3 of my fur babies. Highly recommended if you want your fur babies stay away from home to feel like home.

Unfortunately I am not able to provide boarding at my house right now. My rescue cat is not open to making new friends. She is fearful, and has extreme anxiety with other cats and dogs.
Information Ashley S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know their schedule (potty breaks, meal times, routine walks, etc) so I can keep things as close to their daily routine as possible. Any fears they have or things that make them anxious, and what you do to help when this happens. If there are any medical issues I should know about, and their current vet info, or what animal ER you prefer in case of emergency.
A typical day
I am pretty well rounded when it comes to caring for fur babies. I will exercise the wild ones bodies and minds. Snuggle the couch potatoes, play on the floor with any that want to. I love taking long walks, or throwing the ball in the back yard. If you are comfortable with me taking your dogs in my car, I love to walk down by Rock River on the trails, or Palmer Park trails. I am not comfortable taking dogs that Im caring for to the dog parks, or having them off leash anywhere but their own fenced in yards. There are too many things that could happen, and my top priority is to keep your babies safe and happy while you're away.
