Hi fellow Rovers ! I went away this summer of 2018 for a brief visit to see some family members, and then proceeded to go to Letchworth State Park, and Niagara Falls NY. after that. Ashley was great, as she took care of my two dogs, an Akita, and a German Shepherd. I didn't want to board/kennel my dogs due to fear of kennel cough, exposure to the summer heat, or even just removing them from their home, where they are comfortable and in familiar surroundings. My dogs handled the slight difference in their routine well. When i returned home, a elderly neighbor was interested and asked who was that walking and caring for my dogs ? So, that assured me that the dogs were actually being walked and getting some exercise and fresh air while i was away. I didn't want to ask them, as they are older, and my dogs can get all wound up if they see a loose cat they're unfamiliar with, a rabbit, or even a squirrel sometimes. My 2 cats did great also, as they can be a handful sometimes. Monte likes to drop his food into the water bowl sometimes, but when I returned home there was no food in their water bowl, and plenty of water in 2 bowls for them ! Plenty of food in their food bowls, litter boxes were obviously cleaned daily, and the cats acted as though I never left. I would highly recommend Ashley if you need someone to care for your canine or feline friends ! She was prompt, texted me back soon after I checked in with her, and I was fully assured and comfortable knowing my pets were being well cared for while I was away. She even brought my mail in from the mailbox! Again , I would highly recommend Ashley if you're going on vacation or just need someone to look after, or let your dogs out for some fresh air, or a bathroom break. I'm planning my summer of 2019 getaway soon, but one thing that I don't have to worry about is who will care for my pets ! Thanks Again, Ashley !
