Pet care experience
There has always been an animal in my home since I can remember. Currently back home, I have four dogs of various breeds, sizes, and ages and a cat. Each dog is unique and has their own personal likes, dislikes, and behaviors that make them, them! I love getting to know dogs and learn more about their personalities. I've always loved dogs and find joy whenever I'm around a furry friend. Family friends and neighbors trusted me to house sit in order to care for their pets properly. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I am comfortable with distributing oral medication to your dog and even have a few techniques of my own to make the process go smoother! I am a very thorough sitter and I triple check that things are done properly such as doors being locked before I leave, etc. I'm also always willing to be flexible as I know life happens!

Ashley was did an amazing job housesitting, and watching our dog and two cats, while we were out of town for a long weekend. Very responsive, and regularly sent pictures of the animals. Came to meet our dog before we left to get to know her. Would definitely use Ashley again!
Leaving your pets at home for vacation can be difficult, but I’m so happy that Ashley was able to stay in my home to watch my babies! She did an amazing job and I was able to have a worry-free trip. She sent me pictures and updates. Highly recommend!

I need to know if your dog has any medications they are taking or if they have any medical problems I need to be aware of. I also like to know special behaviors about your dog and what they mean. If they have certain rituals that they are used to, I would like to continue those rituals while your dog is in my care in order for the dog to be more comfortable. Any other special instructions for your dog are always encouraged!
A typical day
When it is warm outside I love to spend time outside with dogs, whether it's going on walks or playing in the yard. When indoors I love to cuddle and play to make sure they are still getting exercise even if it's too cold. When going on walks I love to take my time and let your dog enjoy themselves.

I am currently attending beauty school full-time along with working part-time some week nights and weekends as well. I am almost always available to stay overnight to care for your pet!
