Hello there! I'm Ashley. I'm a 30 year old military spouse without any children. I'm a huge animal lover (cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, etc!) The 10 year old Akita/Husky mix girl that I owned and loved for 8.5 years recently passed away. I just adopted 2 domestic long haired cat sisters who are both 7 months old. I live in the North Springfield area. I do work full time (M-F) as a nanny near Fort Hunt, but I'm available to care for your pet before/after work and Saturdays & Sundays. My husband is happy to help provide care with me as well. I love all animals of any size and age! In the past, my family has owned a Black Lab, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Dalmatian, and two Tabby cats. I've cared for a husky/lab mix, a Rottweiler, a Pit bull, a Bernese Mountain dog, a beagle and more. I promise to perform any and all tasks you wish in regards to your beloved pet. I can assure you that your pet will be spoiled with attention and play from me while you are away. I'm open to staying overnights with your pet in your own home, if that's preferred.

This was the second time that I had Ashley come and take care of my cat Harley. Ashley been super professional, shown up when requested and communicated his status and photos to us. He is extremely shy and timid of other people. To our surprise, Harley is so comfortable with her that he even gave her a head rub and let her pet him this second time which is truly astonishing since he is afraid of EVERYONE!!! Ashley has been great!
Ashley is a wonderful, conscientious, and confident sitter. She has taken care of my dog (a now 5-year-old Husky/Lab mix) many times over the past 3 years. I trust her completely and always know my dog and home are in great hands while I am away. She is great about updating you as much or as little as you prefer. I very highly recommend Ashely!

Ashley is a wonderful and trustworthy pet and house sitter! I've hired her many times. She takes care of my two labs (an elder golden lab & a black lab puppy) as if they were her own! Lots of walks, playtime, and snuggles. She always keeps me updated about my fur babies constantly whenever I'm gone. With photos and quick responding texts. Ashley has no problem doing some light housekeeping for you either! I've never had a problem with her stay in my home while I'm away. I highly recommend her.

I don't mind a client checking in on me/their household as often as they please. I also don't mind sending lots of pictures/videos of their pets while they're in my care.

I love all breads! I'd like to know if the dog has any medical issues or medicine that they take, if they have any favorite toys or places they like to go, if they have any triggers or things they do not enjoy, if they get along with other animals/people, if there's anything I can do to make them as comfortable as possible while you're away.
A typical day
I'm the kind of person who will get on the floor to pet and play with pets. I'll playfully chase them all over the house, play tug-of-war forever with them, and whatever else your pet likes to do for play time! I love taking dogs on nice long walks. They deserve fresh air and sun as much as we do!

I currently work full-time near the Fort Hunt area, Mon through Fri, but am available before/after work and on weekends. My husband is also willing to help out when needed.
