Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Ashley. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters and ferrets. This experience grew my love of animals and, while I don’t have any pets of my own, I frequently take care of pets for friends and family and would love the opportunity to care for your pet. My family had from a chihuahua to a pit bull so I’m experienced in the unique needs of different dog breeds and sizes.

Ashley was very easy to work with and took great care of Moose. Moose loved her sunroom and being able to watch the neighborhood from above. Would definitely book with Ashley again in the future!
Ashley is the best! My husband and I were worried about leaving our dog behind for a 2 week trip and wanted to find a good babysitter. Ashley was super attentive, communicative, and was always there to help answer any questions. Our dog had a relaxed, happy, and comfortable time with her and he doesn’t like just anyone, but he really liked her!! She’s a great dog person and we’re definitely going back to her next time we travel.
Ashley was awesome, Banjo loved staying with her. Lot's of attention and she kept me regularly updated.
Ashley was communicative and provided a lot of photos during Dakota’s stay! She provided Dakota’s medicine to her nightly and I felt that Dakota was in safe and caring hands the whole time. Thank you Ashley!

My home offers space for your pet to move around! Does your pet like looking out the window? They’ll love lounging in the sunroom with floor to ceiling windows for watching birds, squirrels and people go by. I don’t require crating in my home and pets are welcome on the furniture. With miles of walking paths nearby, I’ll make sure your pet gets outside to stretch their legs. I’m also experienced in reactive dogs and will walk during non-peak hours and curb to let other dogs pass by. I will work with all owners to understand their pets personalities and needs to ensure the best boarding experience! You’re welcome to bring anything you think may make your pets stay more enjoyable. Some things I have: bowls, pet bed and poop bags.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should account for. I live in an area where people are often out walking dogs so it’s helpful to know if your dog is friendly with other pets or if other dogs should be avoided (I have no other pets in the home).
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks along the Four Mile Run trail via Barcroft Park. The trail is tree lined, offering ample shade on sunny days.

I am available for boarding most days but work in an office so will be out of the home during standard weekday work hours. If you’re interested in weekday boarding, let’s chat to ensure your pets needs are met and schedule is maintained! When boarding with me, I will make sure your pet gets the attention and exercise they need and deserve! You’ll receive daily updates with photos throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind they are well cared for.
