I had hopes that my first venture using this service would be amazing. In a way it was, just not in the direction I had planned. Everything started off fine. I reviewed the profiles and picked Ashley based on the 1 review on her profile and her proximity between my home and office. I had hoped she would be fantastic and I could give her a great review to help build up her busness. She accepted my request to sit for my dog in her home. I contacted her 2 days before the designated day and received reconfirmation. On the appointed day, I arrived at the street address on her profile and could not locate her house. In fact, there was no house # above 12 on the street. I pulled over (there had just been a snowstorm the day before of 18+") as much as possible. None of the driveways had been plowed or shoveled that I could see. I tried calling her access line and did not receive an answer. I texted Ashley for better direction of where her home was located. At this time it was 10 mins passed the agreed upon time for drop off. After not receiving a response after 5 mins, I texted again and still nothing. Now I'm thinking what do I do with my dog. If I returned home I'd be late for work but what choice did I have? I texted again and said I was leaving (20 mins passed the drop off time) and would expect a refund for the service not provided. I was able to drop my dog off at his old daycare when I realized I was in the vicinity. It took 2.5 hrs to hear from Ashley and all I got was "I lost my phone in the snow but it was under my car so no real harm done". She did apologize that she didn't get my messages since she lost her phone but at the same time why wasn't she outside looking for me or at least had the driveway or path shoveled?? She has never confirmed her street address and never asked what I ended up doing with my dog. She is not considerate or reliable. Maybe it's her age (profile shows she is college) but when you have a business you should be attentive to your clients, especially when you are caring for their loved ones. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ASHLEY!!!

I have known Ashley for over 3 years now and am very thankful to have her as my dog sitter. She is amazing with dogs. Brady loves her and gets excited when he knows he will be going with Ashley. They go for long walks and hikes, he plays with her dogs and comes home worn out and ready for bed. I signed up with Rover because I wanted to give her a good review because she deserves it. Goes above and beyond for my Brady. I wouldn't allow anyone els to care for my baby
