I'm a lover of all things dogs and have a special place in my heart for kittens/cats, even though I've never owned one (I foster). I specialize in older pets that like to stay in their home - with the same routines - and the same comfort level. No job or request is too big or small. Having had elderly dog myself -She was the light of my life! After moving here from Charleston it became SO clear how important it is for our older dog to stay in her place of comfort with someone we trusted when we are away. Boarding was NOT AN OPTION. I needed to find someone to understand my dog and her special needs, someone I could feel comfortable letting in my home, and someone I could rely on to show up -- and let me tell you - it's TOUGH to find! This is what led me to want to offer the same experience to my clients. I found such joy being home with my dog Bella these last 3 years. I can accommodate any meal/walk/treat/medication schedule. I specialize in dogs, but we have also fostered kittens during emergency evacuations in our home in Charleston and loved every minute of it (see pictures!). I'm honest, punctual, and have a full checklist that we can review to ensure your pet feels right at home. I also offer additional services such as house maintenance, light cleaning, mail collection, errands, plant watering, and other basic help for a fee. We can chat about any other needs you may have prior to your trip.
