I have owned cats throughout my entire life. I've had two dogs, a black lab (Bailey) and a cocker spaniel (Buddy). I currently have four cats (Nora, Roger, Salem, Daisy). I have had 4 guinea pigs, 3 hamsters, a chinchilla and a ferret throughout the years. I have cared for many friends and neighbours dogs and cats (once a cockatoo) when asked. I've typically been the go to girl for house, baby and pet sitting since I was 12. Animals make me happy. I'm grateful to my parents for always having them since I, and my 6 siblings, were born. Walking dogs is also a great way to keep fit. And I love fresh air and the outdoors, it's healthy for all mammals. My last cat (Vitas) died of diabetes. But not before I injected him with insulin every 12 hours for the last year and a half of his life to keep him with me that bit longer.
