Pet care experience
I've had pets my entire life until recently. My life without them is much different and less exciting than I would have imagined. I'd love to have them back in my life but can't have my own at this point in my life. While I haven't officially worked with animals in a professional setting, I know the work that goes into pet care and love my previous pets and have done well with them in the past! I'm an active person and have a serious love for animals of all kinds! I can care for animals ranging from wild, energetic kittens to lazy, old dogs and everything in-between. I will play until a pet tires out and then safely clean up after them and protect them until you return.

I will definitely use Ashley again when we're in town. We had kind of a crazy couple of days and ended up needing a last minute dog sitter. Ashley responded right away and we chatted about my dog's needs for a while before I booked. On the day, she was very flexible when we were running late and she was very relaxed in general. Our dog has not stayed with anyone else before but he seemed very happy with Ashley!

I have experience walking dogs both on a leash and in off-leash areas. I usually use treats and toys to keep dogs engaged and as a recall tool. I do my best to reinforce good behavior and treat bad behavior with care rather than anger.

Availability
I work part-time with a few days being remote. I spend a lot of time at a desk and would love to get outside more after work or on days I'm not in the office, but preferably with a furry friend!
