Pet care experience
I’m Ashley! I’m NE born and raised. I’ve lived in Lincoln for almost 10 years! I received my bachelors degree at UNL and my Masters and UNO. I have experience caring for dogs throughout my whole life and have had dogs in my life and own home throughout my childhood and currently have my own dog as an adult as well. I was a dog walker in high school and walked dog packs of 6-8 dogs at once of all sizes with my best friend. 🥰 I’ve been a cat owner for 6 years as well in addition to experience working in a Cat Hotel and living/loving my friends kitties, so I’m pretty comfortable with our feline friends too! I’ve also worked for almost a year at doggie daycare locally in Lincoln recently to take us some of my spare time giving me more experience with routinely caring for fur friends that aren’t my on, following given food/medication regimens, etc.

Ashley is knowledgeable, fantastic, trustworthy, and kind! My pets were all well taken care of and the photos she sent let us know everything was a-okay while we were traveling.
Ashley walked our dogs daily for 6 months, and she was wonderful! She was reliable, and it was clear from her daily notes that she and the dogs got along great. She is also a great dog-drawing artist :)
Ashley does a great job caring for my furbabies! She's attentive to details and the notes left for her. She'll take pictures of the dogs and leave cute notes. :) Thanks for everything!

Any special needs, fears, insecurities etc that may make them uncomfortable. I do my best to be very aware of body language and their actions but no one knows them better than you! Let me know of any little quirks. :)
A typical day
I am glad to play puzzle games, fetch, walk, practice simple training techniques you may be working on (sit, stay, lay), take them to a dog park, we can chill, watch a show, or whatever you typically do and would want me to do with them!

Availability
I work full time 11-7pm Mon-Fri but am available for drop ins and house sitting during a break in the middle of my work day to check on a pup/cat !I am available for walks, drop ins and house sitting outside of my full time hours as well. I can spend extended time with furbabies on weekends or overnight any day of the week.
