I love all kinds of animals. I have experience caring for different dog breeds from birth to senior. I was 12 when I was responsible, here and there, for feeding, walking and keeping my uncles Shih tzu, Rosco, company when the family was gone. At 19 years old, I was left in charge of my sisters puggle while she went away to the army. At 20, I became a pet parent to a beautiful blue nose Pitbull named Brooklyn, who I lost after 12 years on this earth in August 2021. I helped her birth 2 litters of 9 puppies during her lifetime, feeding, playing, bathing and all the good stuff until they found their forever homes. I have also provided senior care for her which included administering pain medication and wound care for an oral tumor before she spread her wings. I have also owned a bulldog which I had to provide nebulizer treatments for a short trachea. I have owned a Maltipoo and two blue nose Pitbull puppies that I had to sadly give away for personal reasons. I puppy sit my sister’s German Sherprador mix, Koda, from time to time. And I currently have a 2 year old old Miniature Australian Shepherd, Leo, who is my world and I am training him to be a good puppy citizen through Petco’s S.T.A.R. AKC training program! I work a hybrid job with Wednesdays being the only day I work in my office. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays, I have free time to play with Leo during my 2, 15 minute breaks and lunch hour as well as after work once I pick up the kids from their Afterschool activities. On weekends, I usually have a lot of free time and so, I often go to dog parks with Leo & my 3 kids. 3 kids + 1 dog = tons of energy burned! My pup, Leo is very playful and energetic, he can provide company and lots of play if you have an energetic pup or dog. I also find that Leo is somewhat adaptive, if we are home being lazy bugs all day, he will also be a lazy bug, cuddling and snoozing all day. So if you have a pup that likes to just lay around or has low energy, I’m sure Leo can adapt and cuddle up and lay around with them all day. I have a playpen that expands for small to large sized dogs, as well as a crate for medium sized dogs if needed. You can say my apartment is puppy proof as I don’t have much that a pup can get into or be mischievous with or knock down, it’s the perfect home to host your pup with tons of space to run around and just be dogs. I will also keep you updated throughout the day and send photos throughout the day.
