Pet care experience
I've cared for friends and neighbors pets since I was 10 and am very comfortable around cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. I truly love animals and want every pet to feel loved, cared for and comfortable while their humans are away - even if it's just for a few hours. Pets are family and I love every pet as much as my own. I want pet owners to know and trust that their furry companion is in good hands with someone who truly cares and will always do what's best for them.

Ashley is the best! She has taken care of both of my dogs, a Yorkie and a German Shepherd. I have used her for both pet sitting and dog walking services. She is reliable, capable, trustworthy and she loves animals. She is more than just a caregiver as she understands the very different personalities of each of my dogs and provides them with exactly the level of care and attention they need, which is a lot. Most of all, I know my dogs love her as much as she loves them as they are always so happy to see her!
Ashley provided amazing care to Cooper. She was patient, kind, and you could tell she made him feel really special and loved. He's always excited to see her, and I feel good knowing he's so well cared for when I can't be there.

When pet-sitting, I always go over all of the house rules, health notes for the pet and wishes of the pet owners. We always have a plan in case of an emergency and I happily provide updates/check-ins with pet owners so they know their pet is safe and happy while they're away. Additionally, I love to know specific details about a pet, such as their favorite toy to play with, their favorite treat to eat or how to comfort them when they're frightened. All the little characteristics that make our pets unique and special to us are important, and I want owners to know and trust that I will care for their pet as much as my own.

Availability
I currently work from home Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule that allows me time to take breaks, head outside for a walk or run errands. Taking pets for walks or dropping by to feed, play with, or give needed care to a pet during the work day easily fits into my normal schedule and is something I'd love to do for any pet needing attention and care during the day. I have additional availability to care for pets during the evenings and weekends as well as holidays.
