Currently in my free time I volunteer at Oakland Animal Shelter, and very much enjoy taking care of the animals, and serving our community. My dog growing up was a Golden Retriever, and that was my first experience walking and taking care of a dog. As a family we would take long walks on our country farm, and Boomer loved to join us, and chase a stick or two! In my adulthood my family and I had 4 dogs; A Golden Retriever, Doberman Pinscher, Greyhound, and terrier mix (all at the same time!). I very much enjoyed taking long walking the dogs as a pack, and playing at the dog park. My dog sitting experience includes sitting for two different families, both for extended periods of time (3+ days in a week). One family has a Beagle Chihuahua mix named Don Cheagle, and the other a Scottish Terrier name Hans Solo. I always make sure to take a mile or longer walk with each pup, each day.
