Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner my entire life, and I've done it all- from crate training, to house training, to cuddles and specials dog birthday cakes. I worked at a vet clinic in Atlanta as a vet technician for several years- so I have great experience in both boarding care and medical care for pets. I can administer any medications, clip nails, specialize diet, or just love on your pet as much as you like! I love the outdoors and will take your dog on as many adventures as possible! I live with two other Rover sitters- so your pup will be in the best of care around the clock. I also have a dog-loving cat named Patronus! I'll always make sure to send tons of pictures and updates, so you can keep your mind at ease.

Awesome experience with Ashley. She was flexible with pickup/drop off times, very nice, great communication. My pup fell asleep as soon as he got in the car so lots of play time too.

Is your dog cat friendly? Do they sleep in a crate or are they allowed to have free roam of my house? Any medications that need to be administered? And anything to be aware of- aggression towards other dogs/children/any specifics. Is your pup nervous in the car if we do go for hikes? These aren’t disqualifiers for me- I just want to be sure I’m giving your pet the best care!
A typical day
I live in a house with a fenced backyard in Port Richmond/Kensington (no toxic plants, all native and edible!), and I am always going on hikes in the Philly area. I am more than happy to take your pup with me on any adventures, or just hang in the backyard if that’s their preference! I also live near many pet-friendly establishments and parks. And for any cats, they’ll have 3 floors to roam and plenty of cozy spots to hang out :)

Availability
I work Monday through Friday with a good amount of early days off and telework! My husband is also a certified Rover sitter and is typically home during the day, so your pet would have 24/7 attention and care. With a fenced in backyard potty breaks and time to run are easy, and plenty of parks are close by for longer walks.
