My parents gave me my first dog when I was three years old. That dog lived to be 18. In the span of his lifetime, we owned 8 other dogs, four of which are still living. I've worked with young dogs, old dogs, small dogs and big dogs. I've worked in a pet store where my primary focus was helping dog owners find the products they need. Currently, one of our dogs is a rescue who is VERY skittish with other people, so I have a lot of experience with dogs who may struggle with social interactions. I also walk 5+ miles daily, so distance is no issue. I may bring my 1 year old with me, but she will be worn on the walks, or in a stroller, so there would be no interaction between your dog and her. I'm very cautious.
