Pet care experience
I specialize mostly with toy or small dog breeds. I have owned two chihuahuas and a boston terrier, but pet sat for my friend's mother's two chihuahuas AND boston terrier ( what are the odds! ) I have also pet sat with Australian shepherds and cats. I have owned multiple cats in my life. My room mates have an australian shepherd, a rescue and two cats. I also have experience with caring for reptiles, I currently own an Eastern Newt but cared for a ball python & bearded dragon before. I have a large houseplant collection, so I am more than happy to take care of your babies!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ashley seemed to be ok at the meet and greet. She started the night of 10/16/23 and was booked for overnights through 10/27/23. She gave my cat her insulin shot and stayed overnight. The next morning she gave another shot but it didn’t take which can happen Then Ashley agreed to come back at 4 pm so I could show her and my daughter how to change my cat’s insulin sensor. But Ashley was late and I told her we would have to wait until after my work meeting. I reiterated to Ashley that she has to show up on time especially for my cat’s insulin shots. After the meeting I was searching for the new sensor and when I found it I couldn’t find Ashley. SHE HAD LEFT WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME! I had 2 hours before leaving for the airport and no one to help my daughter. I don’t know how Ashley was approved as a sitter but I do not recommend her. If my daughter wasn’t actually there during my trip my cats would have died if Ashley had left. I will never use Rover again.
Ashley cared for my two dogs and two cats while I was out of town for a few days. I came home to well cared for pets and my home as well! I plan to hire Ashley again, and feel confident in her commitment to taking care of my pets as she would her own.

I need to know any pre-existing health issues, their veterinarian, the closest ER vet, temperament with other dogs & people, if they're able to travel to near by places like the park or somewhere.
A typical day
It depends on the animals! I usually come in and let the dogs out after baby talking them. We have food, then we run around! I believe walks are a must for dogs! If the dogs are alright traveling, we can go to local parks together. I love playing with cats. I love letting them soak in the sights of the great outdoors from windows, or letting them sniff and survey the area in a secure environment ie window cracked open.

Availability
I am a cook and freelance illustrator, so I usually have my days free to care for your family members. Night time is usually best for me, as my job requires 10 hour shifts.
