Pet care experience
I have had pets for as long as I remember. I was raised alongside my dogs and they were a daily part of my life and also a personal responsibility. I know how to walk/exercise, administer medication, feed, train, groom/trim nails, and love all animals, especially cats and dogs. I have had the pleasure of even owning and caring for a leopard gecko! I have also volunteered at an environmental center taking care of baby birds, turtles, injured birds, baby deer, and much more. I know basic first aid and CPR, as well as how to exercise and provide basic training to dogs and cats. I have experience with all types of animals including dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, and fish. Thank you for your consideration! Looking to hear from you soon!

Ashley was wonderful to work with! She was communicative, prompt, and great with our large dogs. I loved that she came with little treats and she was so sweet to leave jerky for the dogs when she left. We will definitely be using her again.
To say Ashley is amazing would be a massive understatement. I have a nervous/reactive dog but he took to Ashley immediately. Ashley took the time to get to know me and my dog during a few drop in visits. She is very experienced with animal behavior and pays close attention to my dogs body language to make sure he is never uncomfortable. I also have a cat that she has taken care of along side my dog during drop in visits. Just like my dog my cat took to Ashley as soon as they met. Ashley is so kind and gentle with my fur babies. I can't imagine a better pet sitter! She is excellent with communication and providing updates and pictures. All in all, I can't say enough good things about Ashley and will continue to use her services in the future.

The services I’m offering would have to be at the clients house/apartment/or neighborhood. Preference especially given to anyone at my own apartment complex. Possibly willing to take pet to my place over the weekend but I live in a one bedroom apartment in a complex that is roomy, but better for smaller dogs/animals. Willing to discuss many options as I’m very open and more doing this for the experience/for fun rather than the money :)

Let me know ahead of time if your animals have any special needs or needs diapering and/or potty pads put down for them. I’ve had senior animals and understand what may be necessary even if taken out regularly. Please also let me know if your dog is habitually “fetch-obssessed” so I can be especially conscious of when to take breaks or shift to a different activity to make sure they don’t exhuast themselves to an unhealthy extent. Thank you!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, especially to new places where they have time to sniff and carefully explore. I also really enjoy a good outside brushing session so the birds can use any of the fluff that comes off! I enjoy playing fetch and using enrichment toys for dogs! Keeping dogs enriched and fulfilled keeps them happy, healthy, and having longer lives! I also enjoy using toys to play with cats who enjoy that kind of thing!

Availability
I work full-time, but as I have moved away from home/my home state, I’ve been missing my family’s pets. Thats why I’m on Rover and my prices are low. I’m looking for a mutually beneficial relationship to have where I get to spend some time playing, walking, and/or spending time with animals once or twice a week and you get a break or pet-care for a super low price! My weekends are mostly open, weekdays don’t typically work for me but am open to discussing!
