I've loved playing and being around dogs my whole life--I'm the person you can find playing with the dog at parties :) Although I've never had one of my own (parent was allergic growing up), I've always been around friends and family who are dog owners and even watched their dogs here and there. Being around dogs is incredibly fulfilling and their sweet and energetic energies make any day better! An example of an extended dog sitting experience happened a few years ago when my grandmother visited from abroad and brought her dog along who stayed at my house and I got to take care of her for several months. I live near Harbor Island Park which is a great spot for dog walking!

Ashley always arrives to walk our dog when she is scheduled to do so, and diligently communicates when anything is different or atypical in his behavior. She is very attuned to him and carefully pays attention to his signals to determine what he needs. Ashley is extremely careful and conscientious when caring for our dog, and she clearly has a keen love of animals. Ashley is a true animal lover; I've been around when she watches neighbors' and friends' dogs / cats and observed how caring and gentle she was with the fur babies. I’ve known Ashley for a decade and she has a sweet loving nature especially when it comes to pets. My 12 year old cairn terrier has always been very comfortable with her (he doesn’t easily let his guard down) and loves when she gives him attention and treats. I have no doubt that Ashley would be a dependable and responsible dog walker.

I currently work remote full-time, but my schedule is pretty flexible during the day and evenings. I like going on early morning walks, so taking a pup along would be an added bonus!
