I've been called the animal whisperer. No joke. The person who gets wags and kisses from the nippy rescue dog who's scared of everybody? That's me :) I've cared for dogs (and a variety of other animals) in all stages of life, from mouthy young puppies to elderly special-needs dogs. I provide gentle-but-firm boundaries that allows tightly-wound dogs to relax, engaging play time, neighborhood walks, and positive reinforcement. I believe empathy can bring out the best in any pet. For special needs dogs, I'm experienced in gently administering medication (injection and pills), special diets, and working around disabilities. I am easily able to learn any other special care procedures, if needed. I would love to board, but my home currently doesn't have a fenced yard. I'm only available for in-home sitting at the moment.
