Pet care experience
I’m Ashley and my love of animals goes all the way back to my childhood. From dogs and cats to guinea pigs, I have always been surrounded by pets. From that point forward, I always considered every animal I met as family, and now, every pet that I care for is treated as my family member and I use my years of experience and skills to provide exceptional care to each one. I am dedicated to around-the-clock care and you can feel comfortable knowing I’ve been thoroughly vetted and background checked. Coupled with my experience, you can always be sure that your pet is being left with a responsible and caring provider. I look forward to giving your pet the kind and attentive care they deserve. I know how hard it is to be away from your furry friends so I am sure to stay in frequent and consistent communication, sending photo and text updates so you know how safe your pet is in my care. I also give lots of treats, cuddles, and pets!

Ashley communicated very well and was very caring towards our cats. She helped clean up some of the mess they made and kept them company and well fed. Would definitely recommend her.

My dog had such a good time being walked by Ashley. She was very flexible and willing to work with any and all of the request I had. As well as getting some great pictures of my dog while out on his walk. She will definitely be used again for my dog’s walk.
Ashley was my first experience with rover, which I tried with some trepidation, but after meeting her and receiving the first couple of updates, she resolved my unfounded concerns. She was punctual, thoroughly followed instructions, and provided daily updates with pictures that reassured me that my cat and home was in good hands while I was away. At one point she noticed that my cat hadn’t pooped in a day or two, which she quickly notified me about, and though it turned out to not be an issue, I appreciated that she was detailed oriented to notice and inform me. If/when I need to find someone to check in on my Bella in the future, Ashley will be at the top of my list!

I make sure to refresh their water everyday and make sure they are fed. I also don’t mind bringing in mail or newspapers, just let me know how you usually do things in your home and I will take note and follow your instructions! Sometimes I even stay overtime to keep your pets company so that they’re not lonely!

Before a stay, I like to learn about your dog’s temperament, energy level, commands, feeding schedule, whether or not they’re housebroken, their vet information, an emergency contact, any allergies, as well as any medical issues or treatments your pet has. I also love when my clients make sure to bring treats, food, toys, beds and blankets, collar and leashes, and any medicine their pet might take.
A typical day
I work out almost every day so I work well with active dogs, large or small. I often go on hikes and walks nearby, so just let me know if your dog would enjoy that and I'd be happy to take them with me!

I currently go to school and have a flexible schedule so I will happily drop in to say hi to your pet(s) or take them on a nice walk! I spend my free time volunteering at the cattery in Petsmart and foster cats when needed as well!
