I’ve taken care of many types of dogs (and a few cats) since I was 16, but have grown up with dogs throughout my life. I have helped with potty training puppies and doggy door training. I also am comfortable with giving dogs intramuscular injections if needed.

Another wonderful stay for Jackson with Ashley! He’s always in such great hands when I leave him there and he clearly has the time of his life.
Thermo had so much fun at Ashley's, I think he was bummed to go home! Her & her husband are very good with dogs & I'm very glad they took thermo in for me last week.
The best! I wouldn’t want to leave Jackson with anyone else. It’s a true vacation for Jackson when he’s there and I know he gets tons of love.
Jackson had another wonderful stay with Ashley! I could tell from the photos and videos he was having the time of his life. I know Jackson is in great hands with Ashley and her husband. In fact, he’ll be staying with them again in less than a week from now.

I usually work in my office where there is a day bed that dogs can use to sleep on and a hallway with a baby gate to keep curious dogs out of trouble. I have a block wall fenced-in backyard that dogs can roam around outside.

I prefer to know how well trained the dog is, what command words are used, what treats are acceptable, bad habits of the dog, and any quirks that may help the dog feel more comfortable with me.
A typical day
Depending on the dog, I like to walk around the neighborhood on weekdays, go to dreamy draw/piestawa peak, north mountain, or Papago on the weekends. I also enjoy going to the park!

Availability
**I have started a new job and now work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am home on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On the days I work from home, I have time to let dogs outside to the bathroom. I also love to walk several miles a day and do nature walks/easy hikes on the weekends. On days that I am in the office, depending on how well behaved the dog is, they can have access to the house or they may be locked in the tiled hall way where they can romp and play.
