Hello everyone! My name is Ashley. I am a recent college grad. I have a deep love of dogs. As a little girl, I had my own dog. Her name was Precious, a beagle, and she stayed with me for fifteen years. I bathed her, brushed her hair, and gave her medication. As a college student, I trained and walked multiple dogs, including a German Shepherd and a Bernese Mountain Dog. I have tons of patience, and I enjoy training dogs. I have a keen attention to detail, excellent time management, and am very punctual. I learn quickly, so if there are any specific needs you need to be met, I will follow them to a tee. I hope to meet your dog and become fast buddies with them!

Ashley L. Has had her dog Precious since she was four. Ashley learned from a very young age to take care of her; she used to help me bath her, feed her and walk her. Once she turned 8 she was responsible for feeding Precious by herself and once she turn 13 she was responsible for fully taking care of her, including keeping track of when her vet apts were. Now that she is in DC she still calls me to make sure I'm keeping up with Precious' vet appointments and that I'm not leaving her alone for too long of a period so she won't feel her absence. She even left her a few used t-shirts so that I can put them in her bed and Precious can feel her scent.
Ever since Ashley was little, she's always lived pets and animals. Especially dogs in particular. I can personally vouch for her being a responsible and dutiful dog sitter since she's helped take care of my friends dog before and she takes reslly good care of her own dog! She treats all dogs as if they we're her own and make sure they are well taken care of when she's around! She'd make a lovely caregiver!

A typical day
I will take them on walks around the neighborhood, maybe sit at a cafe for a while. With your permission, I’ll take them to a dog park that is a five minute walk from my apartment. For longer walks, I can take them to Kennedy Park.
