I’ve owned pets my whole life, and I have been helping my family care for them for about 8 years. I’ve got three cats at home, and I’m very close to all of them. My skill set includes basic brushing, bathing and feeding. I always try to make an animal feel comfortable, especially those who are timid. I find that I’m particularly good with reading the body language of cats, as one of mine is very timid and I have brought out of her shell over the last several years. I also love to sing, and some people think that that has a calming effect on many types of animals. Though I have never owned one, I am open to learning to care for pets such as reptiles or rodents. I care for pets by being both gentle and playful depending on their current mood/needs. I’m always careful during playtime to not accidentally hurt an animal. I currently free-feed my 3 cats, but I’ll gladly feed your pet(s) on a schedule if that’s what you want.
