Starting on April 27th 2024 I will not be available on Saturdays and Sundays between 7am and 7pm due to school. This will be ending on June 9th 2024. I will happily still take dogs on those dates, but drop off or pick up will have to be on or after 7pm. If your appointment for drop-off or pickup is at for example 2pm, please show up at that time. I will not allow early pickups, you will pick up your dog at the scheduled and agreed time. I charge a $15 late fee for any drop off or pick up that is 15 minutes past the agreed time if there is no communication that you are going to be late at least 30 minutes BEFORE the drop-off or pickup time. For safety purposes: ALL Dogs are REQUIRED to be leashed during arrival and pickup. I will not release your dog until you are fully in my home and the door is closed behind you. Please be respectful and do not allow your dogs to urinate or defecate on my home or in my front yard. Thank you! I have pet sat privately for family and friends for years, and I am now ready to meet some new furry friends. When your pets are under my care, they become part of my family. They will experience a comforting, fun, and safe environment tailored to their needs. As a dedicated pet lover, I am committed to providing your furry friends with the love, attention, and the parents with updates as needed so everyone can have a great vacation. Here are some key points about me and the services I offer: • I believe in offering exclusive, one-on-one pet care. Your pets will be integrated into our family routine, ensuring they feel right at home. Additionally, they will have access to our private yard and the opportunity to socialize with our friendly Lab and Border Collies. • I have experience caring for reptiles and small pets and can assure proper husbandry while they are in my care. I have taken care of and trained dogs of various sizes and breeds for the past 20 years and have competed with my personal dogs for the past 13 years and titled them in various levels in competition/dog sports. That being said, I love my working dogs. I have experience with high drive breeds like Border Collies, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds and more. I truly enjoy taking care of animals, I have always felt it gave me a sense of purpose and happiness in my life. • I understand how important it is to stay connected with your pets while you're away. I offer regular updates, one to two times a day or every other day including photos and information, either in the morning and evening or as per your preference. You can rely on me to keep you informed about your pet's well-being and any concerns that may arise. *Important Note* Please be informed that I do not offer dog training at this time.

Your pets' safety and well-being are my utmost priority. In my clean and secure home, I have locked gates and dogs are always supervised when they are outdoors. I have a tall block fence and a medium sized yard. They can have a splash in the kiddie pool during summer and enjoy a dedicated room with cozy kennels inside. Feel free to let them snuggle up on the furniture too! For potty needs, there's a grass turf area in the backyard and a kiddy pool to cool their paws. I provide plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep them mentally engaged. As an experienced dog trainer, I might even teach them a new trick! *please see photos of backyard and make sure you’re comfortable with the size before booking* I'm vigilant about dog body language and promptly address any signs of aggression or territorial behavior. Positive reinforcement is my approach, creating a nurturing and respectful environment that builds trust and cooperation. Your furry pals will be in safe hands, experiencing a stimulating and joyful time under my care. • I understand the importance of following directions when it comes to feeding and caring for your animals so I am always able to accommodate Safety is very important to me! I own four dogs ranging from 3 to 11 years of age. They are well trained, crated at night and kept on a strict feeding schedule. I do not do meet and greets with my personal dogs as I like to observe the dogs behavior once they are comfortable and accustomed to their new environment. Introductions with my four personal dogs are slow and interactions are kept at a minimum unless the dogs get along well, that way everyone is happy and things aren't overwhelming for your pup! I will do my best to accommodate any request that you may have with your pets because I would want anyone caring for my own animals to do the same!

Please let me know about your pets temperament, feeding schedule, known commands and if your pet has any special needs, such as allergies, needing more frequent potty breaks due to health or age, and any behaviors that may help me to better understand how to care for them. Also, if you have special breeds that require specific attention due to health or behavior, I’d like to know that ahead of time too. I do not have any breed restrictions, but I want to mention that I only accept dogs who are crate trained (who are comfortable in their kennel at night). I also am personally not comfortable with any aggressive behavior in animals larger than 30 pounds and do ask that you take this into consideration before requesting me.
A typical day
I like to provide the dogs with mental stimulation to keep their mind active by letting them do puzzle games, or letting them work for their food by learning new tricks. We'll play ball or frisbee, or what ever toy they'd like and when the weather permits we'll explore outside and go on walks.
