Pet care experience
Professional dog mom of 2 rescues. I have fostered 4 dogs with Lucky Dogs Animal Rescue and City Dogs Rescue prior to adopting my own. I know the emotional challenges that come with boarding/daycare, both for pups and their human, so providing you with the best experience is my greatest mission.
Reviews
Ashley is a lifesaver -- graciously babysat my sweet blind senior pup on short notice. Buttons loved his day with Ashely and two precious dogs. Thank you! Thank you! 5 stars is not enough!
Ashley went above and beyond to provide me and my dog Minnie a fun, safe, and comfortable doggy day care experience! I tend to get nervous leaving my little one with strangers, and especially with other dogs. My dog can get nervous and even anti-social, but Ashley was great in making both of us feel assured that Minnie was in good hands by arriving early to allow time to see how she acclimated to her and her two dogs. They all got along great, and I could tell Minnie had so much fun during her time with Ashley. If I ever travel to the DC area again with my dog, Ashley is definitely my go-to.
Ashley was an amazing sitter to my 6 year old girl Millie. Millie had such a fun time with Swoosh, Frankie, and Ashley going on lots of adventures and being a temporary member of their pack. Ashley was great about sending pictures and updates while I was missing my girl and was super flexible when we had flight troubles and didn’t get home when planned. Millie was having such a fun time I don’t even think she noticed I was gone. I definitely recommend Ashley if you are looking for a kind, attentive sitter!
Ashley did a great job, and my dog had a blast in her care. Ashley is responsive in communicating about bookings, prompt in pick ups/drop offs, and communicative in sharing updates and pictures during the booking. She’s also friendly and warm, and I felt totally comfortable about having my dog spend the day with her and her dogs. Was a great experience overall. I will definitely reach out to her again, and I highly recommend that you do too!!

I live in a safe and quite neighborhood with lots of flowers to sniff so walk times are happy waggy times. I also take my own dogs to a dog park for at least an hour everyday, which your dog is more than welcome to join if you are comfortable.

Information Ashley L. would like to know about your pet
Most importantly, please tell me about their activity level and how well they get along with other dogs. I’d also love to know if they are food motivated, if they have any fear/trigger, and what their tendencies are.
A typical day
When dogs are left in daycare, they are always stressed, whether visibly or not. That’s why I try to give them some space at the beginning of the day to let them explore the new environment on their own and feel safe around myself and my own pups. Then I engage in fun and affirming getting-to-know activities, with treats as positive reinforcement if you are comfortable. We also have outdoor time twice a day, including a midday playtime at a dog park and a neighborhood walk later in the afternoon. I also believe each dog should get a tailored agenda based on their personality, so I’d love to talk to you to create a plan that works well for your pup.

I’m working from home fulltime so your dog will receive around the clock attention and bathroom breaks. My two pups are extremely friendly and have made great company to their previous foster siblings.
