I have 10 plus years in caring for various animals such as cats, dogs, bunnies etc. I have watched pets while their owners are away, walked dogs, kept pets company and of course provide overall care for them! I have my own kitty at home, who is my love. I’m also willing to take in mail, water plants, do any light maintenance to the home while you’re away etc.

I first give the pet time to get to know me, and feel comfortable, as I’m a new stranger in their home. I want to make sure each pet feels loved and is cared for; I know they miss their mommies and daddies when they’re away and want to make their experience as best as possible. I would then engage in activities with the pets such as walking them, playing with them, or just keeping them company to know they’re not alone. I would follow any instructions given to care for the pet, especially pertaining to feeding, walking or any special needs or house considerations. I also like to stay in contact with the pet parents so they know what’s going on and have peace of mind over their babies. **I’m also fully vaccinated

It would be helpful to know what the pet likes to eat, when they eat etc. It’s also helpful to know their basic routine, as well as if their are any objects or toys they prefer. Of course, I would also need to know any unique or special needs that needs attention.
A typical day
Firstly, I would give each pet time to get to know me and feel comfortable with me….Especially for kitties who can sometimes be particular. Then I would engage in various activities with them such as playing, walking, or just loving them. I would follow any instructions given and try to keep them on their same routine as usual. I love spending time with animals and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities.

I’m a Social Worker inBrooklyn, and am currently working a hybrid schedule between working remotely and in office. I’m available mornings, evenings and most times on the weekends. I’m flexible, and willing to stay over if needed. I’m willing to travel to Brooklyn, Queens or out East Long Island
