I’ve been a pet owner for 13 years. I have a limited mobility senior Pitbull at home, so I am well versed in the day-to-day needs of fur family members in their golden years. I’m able to assist pets who may need extra physical support and am capable of lifting up to 70lbs+. I am a fitness enthusiast, so long walks are always available for pups who need a bit more time to burn off any extra energy. My special needs Malinois gave me ample experience learning the best ways to hide/administer oral pet meds on a daily basis. I am a mom of two humans, one senior hippo and 30 feathered friends- so I’m at my best being a care-taker for both two, and four legged family members.

Please let me know prior to booking if your pet has any special needs, dietary restrictions, important behavioral information, or for specific requests. Your dogs safety is the most important factor during our time together. Please advise me of any reactive behaviors your pet may have along our travels, ie. squirrels, strangers, other dogs, etc. Communication is key for the best overall experience, and I’m happy to provide updates, videos, photos, and location tracking services while your pet is with me. We can also schedule a meet&greet prior to any walks/drop-ins to go over all requests and confirm your pet and I are compatible. *Please note that trips to the dog park are not something I offer.*
A typical day
I live in the silverton area and am familiar with the busier areas in town to avoid on walks. Leash manners are important to me and I have experience with both prong collar and gentle leaders leash systems, if applicable. From stop-and-sniffers, to fast paced strutters- I’m prepared to accommodate all of your pets social and physical needs. During a standard 30 minute walk, I average about 1.25 miles with active dogs. During drop-in’s, I’m happy to continue in your everyday routines including meal times, potty breaks, indoor/outdoor play or more relaxing activities. Belly rubs, cuddles and butt scratches are always complimentary!

I’m a small-business owner that works from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available Monday-Friday from 9:30am-3pm, and some weekends upon request. My children are both school aged so I now have extra time to give to other activities.
