My husband and I have had dogs our whole lives, we are a very active family and our dogs are an integral part of that. We are constantly watching our friends and co-workers dogs with great success, our two dogs love the company! We have a large fenced in yard (quarter acre lot) and live near many parks and trails. Does your dog love a run? Sounds like a great excuse for me to hit the pavement! Is your dog more of a couch potato? There is a spot reserved for them next to our old boy, who is a bit of a comfort queen. We have some flexibility in work schedules and are comfortable taking care of all your dogs needs.

Ashley, Josh and their kids were so great with Hen! They had a huge backyard to play in and it was a blessing that they chose to have Henley stay with them for Christmas. They sent several photos and updates and made pickup and dropoff seamless. Their son had to hug Henley goodbye when we left 🥹. I would highly recommend them!
Ashley, Josh and fam were great! Our pup Archie was well taken care of. He came home worn out after playing with their pups and spending a long weekend with their family.
Ashley and Josh took such great care of our pup while we were out of town. Can’t wait to give our dog another vacation at their house soon.

We have a large, fully-fenced in, and grass filled yard where the dogs spend a lot of time running around, sniffing, playing, sunbathing, and watching the ample neighborhood birds and squirrels. We have very friendly neighbors, and a safe, quiet neighborhood close to many parks and paths. We are happy to provide updates via text, email, or the app so you can see that your pup is doing well! Our two dogs (2 year old lab mix and 13 year old lab mix) will always be around to keep your pup company and love having guests. Our dogs have free reign of all common areas of the house (we close off bedrooms generally) but we are happy to accommodate crating if that’s your pup’s preference. We also have the space and ability to separate the dogs for a little break if needed.

We do have children in the house that are very involved in the care of our dogs and our dog visitors, we will only host dogs who get along with our dogs and are kid friendly. We will generally want to arrange a meet and greet to determine a good fit for both us and you!
A typical day
We usually do 2 daily walks around the neighborhood, once in the early morning and in then afternoon around dinnertime. The rest of the day can be spent in our spacious yard playing or lounging inside chewing a bone! When working from home, our dogs tend to curl up underneath the desk to take advantage of the occasional ear scratch.

Availability
I work full time as an occupation therapist but am home evenings, weekends, and have some flexibility during the days. My husband and dog co-parent works in tech from home at least three days a week. Generally, Mondays and Fridays we are working outside the house for at least a few hours at a time. During these times we set the dogs up for success with lots of morning exercise and appropriate toys. We do have cameras to be able to monitor the pups and may need some flexibility for pickup and drop-off times.
