Are you ready to have your furry family member feel like they’re on a vacation too while you’re away? We’re the home for you! Together my husband Jay and I have over 15yrs of experience caring for dogs. Whether they be our own, our friends or the ones we’ve fostered your pup will be instantly part of the pack. Our dogs are our children (yes we’re those people) and so they get the most spoiled and adventurous life with us. Hikes, walks, car rides, river swims, breweries & coffee shops, any chance they can come with us we love making that core memory! I work in the travel industry and am gone 2-3 nights/week and my husband works from home, so someone is always around. We recently lost our almost 6yr old lab to heart disease and our home is too quiet (and clean) without him. Our other pup Ziggy really misses his big brother and would love a buddy to have around to play with. Ziggy gets along great with everyone and has much experience making friends at the dog park and being a good house guest overnighting in other peoples homes. We have a dog door and a large fenced in back yard. When your pup stays with us they’ll be free to lounge in the many cozy places around the house and have plenty of toys to choose from to play with. We provide a calm environment for your pet and will include them in whatever we do. Also making sure to stick to a routine they’re used to so they feel all the more comfortable in a new environment. I will provide plenty of updates and photos while your pup is with us. I know how much I appreciate that when our pup is in someone else’s care. We look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Ashley and her husband Jay are amazing pet lovers!!! Their pups are their kids and every animal they take care of is treated just the same. I highly recommend Ashley! The joy she gets from hanging out and spending time with dogs is unmatched. All the adventures they go on and playtime the dogs get is what I’d dream of for my pups. Not to forget the attention and love they receive. Wouldn’t want anyone else to take care of my animals. Ashley and her husband are truly the best!!!

We have a large fenced in back yard with a dog door for easy access to go potty or romp around in the yard. Crates can be used if needed, our pup has free roam of the house and we’ll provide the same freedom for yours as well. With that freedom to take up space on the couch/bed and we have a mix of carpet/hardwood, we do kindly ask that your dog comes to us clean and we will make sure they go home in the same condition. Our dog is on flea/tick prevention, please make sure yours are critter free when they come.

We do require that all dogs be up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella & be flea/tick clear. Please let me know your dogs feeding schedule, any allergies, any fears/anxieties, where do they like to sleep, where do the go when left alone, are they crate trained, how do they do on walks? I do require a meet and greet before any first time stays. We want to make sure it’s the right mix for the safest environment possible.
A typical day
Typical day in our house starts with breakfast and then a little lounging time in the morning. Mid day walk and play time with the freedom to come and go outside through the dog door. After dinner we usually always end the day with a walk to settle in for the night. If your dog does well in the car we can take them with us for errand running/sniffing out the window. We buckle the dogs in with a harness and seatbelt attachment.

My husband works from home and I am out of the house 2-3 nights/week for my job, so someone is always around the majority of the day.
