Since I was three years old, I've always had my own pet to care for. From horses to rabbits; from ferrets to fish; from cats to dogs, throughout my life I have had them all! For four years, I worked as a veterinary technician; experienced in emergency care. For two years, I worked for an animal shelter; rescuing and caring for abused/neglected/surrendered animals. My home is currently shared with a dog (neutered, 20 lbs.), a chinchilla (caged), and a cockatiel (caged). I have older children in my home that are very loving and gentle with pets.
