I have been a proud pet owner and caretaker of an array of animals throughout my childhood. Growing up, my family and I cared for a shih tzu, two great pyrenees, and a German shepherd/ dachshund mix (yes, you're reading that correctly!). In addition, I helped our family care for both freshwater and salt water aquarium fish, an assortment of rodents (Guinea pigs, mice, etc..) as well as several turtles and frogs. I currently own two very sweet cats of my own: Akira ( 13 years old) and Sita (3 years old). As I consider my pets my family, it is very important that the animals I care for are provided with a healthy/informed diet, daily exercise and enrichment, a clean space, and a consistent routine.
