I grew up most of my life with dogs, including a Dalmatian/Beagle mix named Phoebe and two Basset-hounds named Henry and Barney; nowadays I am the proud dog mom to an exceptional Bichon/Maltese named Halston. I've done dog-sitting in the past for several clients back in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina, including regularly dog-sitting two large Labrador Retreiver/Rottweiler mixes. I'm pursuing dog walking because its a job I can be legitimately excited about; I have spent the last few months studying to be a dog and cat groomer through Animal Behavior College's program, and am trained to do dog CPR/First Aid/Medication Administration. I will graduate in Summer 2018 with my pet grooming certification and plan to do mobile dog grooming as a side gig once I am fully skilled. I'm interested in a permanent dog walking job because it will keep me active and in shape, allow me to explore new places with each new job, and mostly importantly I will get to work with and care for dogs every day! I am flexible with all sorts of breeds of dogs, and I am available on weekdays (and open to occasional weekends) to walk and care for dogs that need a gentle, loving and dependable caregiver.
