Pet care experience
My name is Ashley and I have over ten years of experience working with a variety of animals ranging from farm animals (horses, goats, llamas, chickens, etc.) to family pets such as dogs and cats. I am comfortable around all sizes of animals and have plenty of experience working with them to properly care for any animal. If you need someone to watch your pet for you, I'm your best bet! In terms of pricing, I am somewhat flexible and tend to base my rates off of your needs as well as your location. Additionally, I am somewhat different from some other sitters in that I do not charge per night, but rather per day. This means that if you are traveling from Friday-Sunday, I charge for three days. By doing so, it covers that no matter what time of day you are leaving or coming home I guarantee that I can be available to take care of your pets, whether you are leaving at 4 am or 11 pm I will be there to help out wherever needed. Additionally, please note that there is a 15% service fee in addition to the daily rate to counterbalance the fees charged by Rover. I look forward to hearing about you and your furry friends! Why I love dog sitting I have owned dogs all my life and wouldn't have it any other way. I previously worked at a dog daycare service that offered daily pet sitting, overnight kenneling, training, and a variety of other services. While working there I cared for up to 30 dogs at one time, but mainly prefer the smaller services in order to give your dog(s) more one-on-one care. My experience administering medication I have experience in giving injections and medications of other types, and have no problem doing this for you while you are gone.

I know how stressful it can be leaving your pets when you go on vacation. Arranging for them to stay at home, where they are comfortable, with someone you can trust is the best solution possible. Ashley made this possible for me and my husband. Mind you, we have a menagerie which includes goats, chickens and one very spoiled Shih Tzu. I tell people that I feel like we won the pet sitter lottery when I found her! Responsible, kind, knowledgeable, resourceful are just a few of the words that come to mind. She even delivered an unexpectedly early baby goat the first time she watched our pets for us... bet that doesn't happen very often! If I had non furry children I would want to leave them in her capable hands as well. :-)

Before sitting for your dog(s) I would like to know how many you have, what their ages and breeds are, their temperaments, and any special treatments they may require while you are gone. I strive to provide the best service possible to keep you happy and keep your animal(s) stress free while you are away.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I prefer to stay at the home with the animals while sitting so that I am assured that there is nothing going wrong overnight. That being said, in most instances, I do stay overnight, at no increase in rate. Should you decide this is not something you feel is necessary, that is fine as well. I do work and attend classes on a daily basis and therefore am normally not home during the day, but may be able to arrange for someone to check in numerous times during the day if I do plan on being out. Extra house-sitting services Should you be gone and have other tasks you would like completed during this time, don't hesitate to let me know and we can work something out.
