Pet care experience
Hello pet parents! My name is Ashley G. and I am a former daycare/boarding handler at The Pampered pooch Pet Resort & Spa in Brentwood, TN. Due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak, my job has temporarily shut down, leaving me with LOTS of free time. So, why me? With my line of work, I see dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities, and I absolutely LOVE getting to know each of them individually! Whether you just need me to walk your puppers or cuddle with your cats, I’m here for it and I’m completely free these next few months. This was the first time Ashley has dog sit/house sit for us. We were extremely pleased with our experience. We have a special needs dog that requires insulin shots and Ashley had no problem with this requirement. Our doggies enjoyed her attention and ate well which has been an issue in the past. Ashley communicated with us twice a day and sent lots of pictures. We will definitely call on her again in the future.

I do not have any preferences as far as breeds go. Given my line of work, I’ve come to love every single one of them! Some things I’d like to know about your pup before sitting them are: 1) Any allergies 2) Favorite treats 3) Medications 4) Special care instructions 5) Birthday (if it falls within the time that I’m sitting) 6) Emergency contact
A typical day
Every morning, with the exception of rainy days, I wake up and walk around my neighborhood(about 1.5 miles!). On really nice days, I love to go to the dog park to let the pups run around and get their energy out. If permitted by the owner, I always stop by Chick Fil A after the park and get some Vanilla icecream for the pups and I to munch on as a celebratory kind of thing for getting to go. On not-so-nice days, I like to cuddle up with the pups/cats and watch Disney movies all day (Frozen and Moana are my favorites?). I also take this time inside to train the pups at the owners request. We always have so much fun!
