Hello, my name is Ashley and I cannot wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)! I am an employed veterinary technician and available for walks, drop-in visits, day care, house sitting and dog boarding. I have gained extensive experience with various animal species over the last 9 years, so your furry friend is in great hands. When caring for your furry friend, I will go above and beyond, and treat them as my own. I pay very close attention to detail. If there is a concern, I will contact you immediately! As a sitter I am open to caring for disabled pets (this includes pets who need bladder expressions), as well as those who are not yet house trained. Your pet's needs are my priority and can expect anything from walks around the neighborhood, playing at the dog park, nature trails, running at the stadium, or even just relaxing at home. I am very flexible with my schedule and usually able to accept last minute requests. If your furry friend is in need of medication, I am your girl! More about me: At the age of 13 I began working with several animal rescue groups in South Florida handling adoptions, team leading, and fostering dogs. Apart from this, I worked with the Miami Veterinary Foundation in their initiative to stop unwanted euthanasia by educating the public on importance of spay and neuter, and properly training pets. I have trained and successfully certified rescue canines in the AKC Canine Good Citizens exam. Through these experiences, I had gained plenty of knowledge associated with animal behavior and rehabilitation. In 2015 I became a certified veterinary assistant (CVA). Since then I have worked primarily with critical care patients in small animal emergency medicine.
