Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets since the age of 5. I have had around 20 pets throughout my life and have taken care of 25+ pets that belonged to other people. I have experience feeding, bathing, walking, and caring for all types of pets. I am currently a student at CSU Chico studying to get my Bachelors in Science, majoring in Animal Science. I’m going to school to become a Veterinarian and I am actively working to reach my goal. I treat all animals with kindness, love, respect, and patience. I also pride myself in treating everyone of my client’s chosen furry family additions, as if they were my own during the time that I spend taking care of their furry babies.

Ashley did a great job with Samantha. Her dog Axel and Samantha for a long so well. She introduced them slowly to each other because I think Samantha was intimidated by his size. She sent me updates, pictures, and videos of Samantha. 10/10 would highly recommend and will rebook.

I have a house with a fenced yards and a friendly dog to keep your pet company. I feed dogs twice a day or as I am instructed to. If you opt for me to provide care at your home, then I provide care how you prefer/ instruct me to. I will always make sure your fur baby gets a good amount of time outside to use the restroom, play with them, and walk them if needed. I am also able to crate your pet if preferred as well. I will also ask you details about your pet that are essential such as; diet, inside or outside, allergies, and etc. You can trust that your fur baby will be taken care of by a loving animal owner, who knows the perfect balance between respect and patience when it comes to taking care of pets.

Please let me know if your dog/cat has any quirks, specific diets/ allergies, or triggers that may cause anxiety. I like be aware of these thing, so I am able to provide the best, most comfortable atmosphere for your pet. Keeping your animal safe and healthy is my top priority always.
A typical day
- Walks (daily, which I alter based on your pets age and energy) - Games (depending on the animal is how I will determine the perfect interaction ex: cat - string, fake rats, or laser / dogs - ball for fetch, tug of war toy, laser, or chew toys. - Hikes (local trails and if permitted out of town hikes as well) - Training (teaching tricks or maintenance of commands; to keep their minds engaged)

Availability
I currently a full-time employee at VCA Valley Oak, but other than that my schedule is very flexible. I work Tues.-Sat., and my job allows me to bring pets with me to work. I do have lots of free time after work where I am able to provide quality pet care and dedicate time to the pets I am caring for. On my weekends I like to focus on nature, go on walks, and just be outside/active; this is why I always appreciate having a furry friend around, so that I can enjoy nature with them as well.
